First Time Visitors

It's not easy visiting a new church for the first time.  Coming to First Armenian Church for the first time you may be wondering, "Do I need to be Armenian, or speak the Armenian language to worship here?  What is the music like?  What is available for children?  Am I welcome if I don't know what I believe?"

We welcome you and want your visit to First Armenian Church
to be a wonderful experience.

When you first arrive at First Armenian Church, you will be met by a greeter in the entryway.  They will direct you to the sanctuary.

Although our services include both an English and an Armenian sermon, we provide a written English translation for the Armenian sermon in the program.

Our music is a mix of traditional protestant hymns, Armenian sharagans, and contemporary songs. There is always something familiar and often something new to sing or hear.

If you are coming with your children, they are welcome to worship with you in the Sanctuary for the first part of the service.  They are then invited to come forward to hear the children’s message which offers them a fun and engaging bible story or concept.  Afterward, they go downstairs to the Chapel and Sunday School classrooms.

Our newly renovated nursery offers a bright and cheerful place for infants and toddlers to play (with supervision by a parent), a comfortable setting for new mothers to nurse infants, all while the church service is televised on a screen in the nursery for a parent(s) to watch and hear the sermon.

After our services, our pastor will always wait to greet our parishioners and any newcomers.  Please take a moment to introduce yourselves and share any concerns or prayer requests, if you wish.

We welcome you to join us after the service for coffee, refreshments, and fellowship in our fellowship hall.

We look forward to meeting you!
